'Law & Order,' 'Law & Order: SVU,' and 'Law & Order: Organized Crime' all premiere Thursday, September 22 on NBC.

Olivia Benson is back on the case. NBC has announced a fall 2022 premiere date for the 24th season of Law & Order: SVU. The network has also revealed when the two other shows in the Law & Order universe will return, as well as premiere dates for other new and returning shows. 

‘Law & Order: SVU’ premieres September 22 

Law & Order: SVU Season 24 premieres September 22 at 9 p.m. ET. It’s part of a Thursday-night Law & Order block that also includes Law & Order at 8 p.m. and the Stabler-centric spinoff Law & Order: Organized Crime at 10 p.m. New seasons of the latter two shows will also begin airing on September 22. 

Law & Order: SVU is currently the longest-running primetime live-action series of all time. The rebooted Law & Order is entering its 22nd season, and Organized Crime begins its third season this fall. 

NBC also reveals premiere dates for ‘One Chicago’ shows 

NBC has also announced a September 21 premiere date for all three “One Chicago” shows. Chicago Med Season 8 airs at 8 p.m. ET, Chicago Fire Season 11 airs at 9 p.m., and Chicago P.D. Season 10 airs at 10 p.m. 

The network’s Wednesday- and Thursday-night lineups are both dominated by shows created and produced by Dick Wolf.

‘New Amsterdam,’ ‘The Voice,’ also returning to NBC

In addition to the Law & Order and Chicago franchises, NBC has confirmed premiere dates for new and returning series. 

A new season of The Voice premieres Monday, September 19 at 8 p.m. ET. New Amsterdam Season 5 begins airing Tuesday, September 20 at 10 p.m. ET, and La Brea Season 2 premieres Tuesday, September 27 at 9 p.m. Young Rock returns Friday, November 4 at 8:30 p.m. 

A revival of the ‘90s time-travel drama Quantum Leap premieres Monday, September 19 at 10 p.m. ET. It stars Raymond Lee as a physicist named Ben Song who heads a new team dedicated to understanding the mysteries behind the Quantum Leap accelerator. Lopez vs. Lopez, a new sitcom starring George Lopez, premieres November 4 at 8 p.m.
